Stacey Solomon is fast becoming the most respected working mum in the UK. Dedicated to supporting her young son, Zachary, the X Factor singing sensation is quickly winning the hearts of the public with her bubbly nature and angelic voice.

All the girls in the competition bar Stacey have rapidly dwindled, leaving her to be the only female vocalist competing for the X Factor crown. Stacey clearly has the likeability factor which goes a long way in the X Factor, if you are not liked; you are out on your ear, as proved by the consecutive eliminations of Rachel Adedeji and Lucie Jones.

Week in, week out, Stacey delivers a top performance, proving her to be a consistent singer with a voice that you would never expect to have such a thick Dagenham accent! On stage, Stacey shines and its all for her son Zachary:

'Single motherhood is tough, but I'm determined to be the one that provides for my son,' she said.

'I would love to win this for [Zachary]. It would mean everything. I'd be able to get him into a good school and get him all the things he needs.'

Stacey's work ethic as a single Mum is something to be admired, she's finally getting her big break and her impending singing career will require her to juggle an exciting new lifestyle and a foray into the music world with raising a young son. Despite her ditsy nature, it is clear that Stacey is under no illusions that success after the X Factor is not guaranteed, saying: 'there's always Asda'.
